Projects

 

Climate change and security, Stockholm University

Researching the connection between climate change and security. The purpose of the project is to enhance our understanding about the security challenges caused by climate change and how they can be addressed in Swedish development and security policy. My responsibility is to conduct a meta analysis of the qualitative literature linking climate change with armed conflict.

 

 

Electing violence: Causes of electoral violence in Africa, Uppsala University

Authoring an academic article about local violence in South Africa (1994-1999) together with Kristine Höglund within the project.

 

 

Variations in Post-conflict Violence: A Minor Field Study on Political Violence in South Africa after 1994. In cooperation with the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University, and the Centre for Civil Society, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa.
